NEWBORN NURSE
Our licensed newborn nurse nurtures and supports the family within their home so that they can smoothly transition to their roles with a new baby.
We offer in-home guidance, support, knowledge from evidence based research, and so much more.
Evidence-Based Information
We are trained to understand what moms and their new babies truly need. Â We offer help with things such as; soothing techniques, breastfeeding/bottle feeding support and explaining normal newborn behavior.
Emotional Support
A lot is going on after baby comes home and it can be very overwhelming! Â Postpartum Doulas are experts in emotional support, active listening and helping parents follow their own instincts. Â We understand what you are going through and we will be there with an empathetic heart, a hug or even a good laugh.
Partner & Sibling Support
Another part of the role for a Postpartum Doula is to help the entire family adjust and settle in. Â This includes partners, grandparents and even big brothers and sisters. Â We understand the needs of the family as a whole, and take the time to make everyone feel included.
Practical Support
We want moms and their partners to enjoy every bit of free time they can with their baby.  That’s why we also help with things such as; baby’s laundry, grocery shopping, doing the dishes or preparing simple & nourishing meals.
